From December 14th to 23th, the huge Praça do Comercio will be coloured by the lights show promoted by the Asosiaçao do Turismo de Lisboa and EGEAC, called “O Novo Palácio de Nicolau”.
The project, organized during Christmas time, involves the projection of coloured lights on the Arco da Rua Augusta and on the façade of the nearby buildings. Those lights will tell to the audience the history of Santa Claus traveling through the world and discovering how it is changing due to weather alterations. You will have the chance to follow Nicolau (Santa Claus) in his journey, where he will meet all kind of natural beings who are currently suffering for climate changes.
Using a creative and spectacular means of expression, the show has the purpose to make people reflect on the bad effects of the modern society on the planet through art and beauty, but also to allow them to have fun and to enjoy the time in the most famous square of Lisbon.
The entry is free and the show will take place every day at 7pm, 7.45pm and 8pm.
We suggest you to take part of this beautiful experience… it will be amazing!
