It depends on your level of Portuguese.
If you are an absolute beginner, you can only start when a new module begins. You can find all starting dates for each course online! If you have elementary knowledge of Portuguese, you can start at any time. We’ll assess your level of Portuguese and place you in the best course, according to your needs. For private lessons, you can just tell us when you would like to start.
Of course you can extend your course! Once you finish your first module you can continue with other modules of the same course or you are welcome to change to a different course.Ex. 1: Often students will start a module in the intensive course and then continue on to some modules in the extensive course.Ex. 2: Often students will take some modules in the extensive course and, then, they attend the conversation club.
You can miss a class only when you tell us well in advance that you won’t be present in class for certain days; in these circumstances you can recover the classes.
The teacher gives you one or two pages of homework per session. We recommend you to do them in order to practice and memorize the content explored in the classroom.
